Intended use
An adhesive for goldleaf special developed for Pinstriping technics, Lettering, Stencil work,
Painting Arts, Decorative arts, Fauxfinish, hand-painted wallpaper etc.
Kölner Signcoll is an adhesive for Gold Leaf. Work can be done quickly and effectively, the
adhesion is perfect and thin lines can be applied. The Signcoll can be diluted with water,
adjusted to the type of brush (hair type) and surface. Gilding with Signcoll is almost scratch-proof
and only gives gold leaf a high shine.
The Signcoll is developed for fine decorative work. For larger projects as architectural gilding
it is not suitable, the Instacolll gilding system is recommend
Usable for gilding indoors, outdoors only with a clear coat
Tools:
all kind of brushes, specialist tools like applicators etc.,
pinstriping tools, airbrush
Drying time before gilding: about 1-2 hours depends on the surface
Open time for the gilding: about 4-12 hours depends on circumstances and surface
