Paraffin is a mixture of solid hydrocarbons and looks like a translucent white wax, odorless and slightly oily to the touch. Mainly obtained from the distillation of oil. Paraffin is also used as a glider to be applied between supports at risk of friction.
NB: IT IS ENOUGH TO PASS THE FARAFFIN INTO SHEETS ON ANY PAPER TO MAKE IT PARAFFINATE. THEN THE PAPER PROVIDED PARAFFINED CAN BE USED FOR GILDING WITH THE FREE LEAF ON THE BOLUS: THE GOLDEN LEAF IS MADE ADOPTING TO THE PAPER DIRECTLY FROM THE BOOKLET, THEREFORE IT IS LAYED WITH THE GUAZZO OR, FOR SMALL SURFACES / LOTS, IT HALVES ON BOLUS.
