Dewaxed shellac, Manetti
Shellac in ready-to-use solution recommended to subtly protect and polish leaf gilding, both precious metal and imitation.
Once dry it enhances surface warmth subtly.
Composition
Natural resin in alcohol solution, purified of colours and impurities.
Use method
Before applying the product all surfaces must be perfectly clean, dry and free of fat deposits. Dewaxed shellac in solution requires no preliminary preparation. It is ready-to-use. It can be applied by brush, spray or pad. The glaze obtained is bright, transparent and slightly warm in hue.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place in its own container, closed, and away from direct light and heat. The ideal temperature is 15-25°C with humidity under 50%.
Additional information
Application method and quantities applied may significantly affect workability time frames. The most suitable application methods should be determined experimentally on the basis of support used and desired result.
