Ready-to-use varnish for giving a gold tone to silver leaf decorations.
Composition
Natural resinous substances dispersed in an alcohol solution
Use method
Once the silver leaf has been applied and the burnishing has been completed, apply the imitation gold varnish with a brush or a pad. When the first coat is completely dry, another coat can be applied until the desired effect is achieved. Can be diluted with 94° alcohol. Drying time may vary depending on the layer applied and weather conditions. For proper drying, we recommend an approximate time of at least 3 hours in a dry place, at a temperature of about 20°C and away from dust.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place in its own container, closed, and away from direct light and heat. The ideal temperature is 15-25°C with humidity under 50%.
Additional information
Dilution percentage, application method and quantities applied may significantly affect the workability time. The most suitable application methods should be determined by experimentation on the basis of the surface being gilded and the desired result.

I ordered several wooden boards to paint icons. Upon delivery, half of them showed scratches on the surface to be painted or saw marks on the side. The wooden boards are made without the care necessary for the production of works of art. Dal Molin has not had any hearing for my request for replacement of the unusable art supply nor for a refund saying that "these details have no importance". I do not recommend this business.
