Glass pestle for grinding pigments, diam. 5cm, extra heavy

Glass mullers are handmade. The bulbous handle is specially formed to provide a comfortable grip. The bottom of the glass muller is flat and sandblasted to provide an excellent grinding surface. Use the glass muller on the grinding plate to grind and disperse pigments and other materials into paint medium. Both surfaces of the muller and the grinding slab should be retextured periodically after use. To disperse pigments in paint medium, place a small quantity of powdered pigment and binder on the grinding surface. Begin grinding the paste in circular motion until the paste has a smooth consistency.

I ordered several wooden boards to paint icons. Upon delivery, half of them showed scratches on the surface to be painted or saw marks on the side. The wooden boards are made without the care necessary for the production of works of art. Dal Molin has not had any hearing for my request for replacement of the unusable art supply nor for a refund saying that "these details have no importance". I do not recommend this business.
