Icon board in linden, TRIPTYCH model L1, cradle, with gesso
The dimensions of the icon board are expressed in cm.
Wood thickness approx. 3 cm.
With side hinges for opening / closing the doors and closing on the front.
The board measurement refers to the central panel, therefore, when the triptych is closed.
The measurement indicated is width x height.
The triptych is gessoed on the inside, while the outside and sides are varnished.
The boards is planed, sanded on two sides and gleaned, varnished on the back and on the side with anti-woodworm and anti-mold impregnating agent and water-based varnish in walnut color. Canvas glued on the table with rabbit glue, prepared with chalk and rabbit glue (80% Bologna, 20% Meudon) in several layers (about 10), sanded, ready to paint.
